We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Engineering Stores Person.

The successful candidate will be responsible controlling the day-to-day operation of the stores, stock holding and ordering stock in for the Engineering department.

An overview of the role below:

  • Maintaining Stock levels in stores, SAP & Pirana.
  • Raising Orders for Engineering stock/spares on SAP.
  • Issuing/booking out of stock/spares to engineers SAP & Pirana
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers.
  • Obtaining Approval from Engineering Managers on Stock Orders.
  • Collection of deliveries and storing parts away in stores.
  • Creating New T Numbers in Pirana & SAP.
  • Issuing of stores held tools.
  • Recording all stock transactions on SAP & Pirana.
  • Organizing collections of parts/repairs of engineering stock/machinery.
  • Carrying out stock takes.
  • Stores Improvements.
  • Process & Raise Emergency Orders.
  • Process & Raise Factory Consumable Orders.
  • Covering both Stores for Annual Leave Sickness.
  • Producing budget reports for the Engineering Mangers.
  • Providing first line communication between stores and Engineering.
  • Maintaining Stores ensuring all stock is in the correct place.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the engineering stores.
  • All other General Stores duties, emails, phone calls, chasing orders, filing, scanning, unloading vehicles via FLT etc.
  • Assist Engineering Operations Coordinator where required.

Candidates will ideally have experience within a similar role with procurement experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with knowledge of SAP and computer-based maintenance systems.
