I am currently assisting an organisation who are looking for a candidate with a background within IT Service Delivery / IT Operations or Technical Support management. The role will be to overlook the IT department, which is split into 2 areas, a team of 1st/2nd line support and a team of 3rd line, total headcount of 10-15. The position itself is to support/mentor 2 managers overlooking the two teams, advise on best practices, efficiencies, structure, SLA's and ability to be at hand for escalations/resolutions.
Key Responsibilities;
- IT Service Management
- Best practices across two teams, inc. SLA review
- Risk Mitigation
- Review & assess IT strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity policies.
- Review current compliance with industry regulations, including cybersecurity standards.
- Review digital transformation initiatives and process automation.
- Review procurement, vendor relations, and IT asset management.
