We are actively seeking a Teaching Assistant who possess a genuine passion for education and are eager to gain valuable experience in a dynamic learning environment. Tradewind are collaborating with one of our Cheshire West & Chester client secondary schools, aiming to fill a role for dedicated support staff to assist children aged 11-16 with diverse additional needs.

The ideal candidate is someone who exudes enthusiasm for fostering children's development, embraces inclusivity, and brings any form of prior experience working with children to the table.

As a Teaching Assistant, your role will encompass:

  • Collaborating with class teachers to facilitate lessons and organise engaging activities.
  • Providing support to children on a 1:1 or small group basis.
  • Assessing students in alignment with their learning goals.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Educational Health Care Plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in any subject or alternatively hold an accredited Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Provide Overseas Police Checks if applicable.
  • Present professional reference checks.
  • Submit a comprehensive CV detailing your educational and employment journey.
  • Hold the legal right to work in the UK.
