The Role
As a Process Operator, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the rock salt production process. Working within a skilled team, you’ll ensure compliance with safety regulations while contributing to continuous improvements in production and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to all statutory and company safety regulations.
- Providing statutory cover for the mine as per MASHAM Regulations 1993.
- Promoting continuous improvement in health and safety.
- Supporting efficiency initiatives aligned with the CIP plan.
- Overseeing processing, elevating, and despatching of rock salt.
- Ensuring product quality is optimised.
- Collaborating with the Shift Manager to achieve production goals.
- Performing ground control, ventilation, and infrastructure maintenance.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in heavy industry, mining, or quarrying. You should be adaptable, safety-conscious, and willing to take on a varied role. About you:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (heavy industry, mining, or quarrying).
- Flexibility to adapt to varied work situations and shift patterns.
- A good standard of secondary education.
- Previous experience operating large machinery and vehicles.
