Michael Page are currently searching for a Quality Engineer to assist with the Production, Development and Maintenance of Company procedures and systems in line with ISO.9001 and IATF16949.

Client Details

The business are injection moulding specialists, supplying into varying industries offering a range from Class "A" painting to simple mouldings. Our client are based in Winsford and supply injection moulded components into highly regulated areas such as; Automotive, Rail and Industrial Markets.

Description

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the following;

  • To assist in the production, maintenance and development of Company Quality Procedures and Systems in line with ISO9001 and IATF6949.
  • Undertake compliance audits in accordance with ISO9001 and IATF16949.
  • To carry out new product introduction work including initial sample report documentation, Production Part Approval Process documentation and all other areas of the APQP process.
  • To be responsible for developing and maintaining Control Plans, calibration & too measurement compliance, along with developing & maintaining process FMEA's.
  • Final inspection audits
  • Investigate issues and prepare Corrective Action reports. - PPS, 8D
  • Continuous Improvement Problem Solving Activities.
  • To be responsible for compiling Reject, Returns and Scrap reports.
  • Liaise/visit suppliers and customers where necessary on matters relating to quality.
  • Assist with HSE issues - knowledge of 45001/14001 would be an advantage.

Profile

As Quality Engineer you will have the following;

  • A Qualification in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Experience of working in compliance to a minimum of ISO 9001 and it is advantageous to have worked to IATF16949.
  • An excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
  • Working knowledge ISO 14001/45001 would be advantageous.
  • A background of wokring within fast paced or heavy engineering environments.
