The school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in a classroom setting, ensuring they have access to an inclusive learning experience.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, families, and external professionals to provide holistic support tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans, Risk Assessments, and Therapy Care programmes.
  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support, helping students to develop confidence and independence.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience working with SEN students or a strong desire to work in this field.
  • A good understanding of Special Educational Needs and a willingness to undertake relevant training.
  • Strong skills in managing challenging behaviours and adapting learning approaches to suit individual needs.
  • Commitment to regular, fixed working days (full-time or part-time).
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
