Your Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to provide tailored support that nurtures academic and personal growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons for students with SEN
  • Adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that fosters confidence and independence

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with SEN experience or a willingness to train
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to engage students, staff, and families
  • Empathetic, patient, and resilient in supporting student development
