We believe in fostering a stimulating and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and develop to their fullest potential.

Job Description: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children in a nursery. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver a high standard of care and education, ensuring the well-being and development of each child in your care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying their individual needs and interests.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities, including daily observations and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young children through creative and stimulating activities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
