Senior Administrator / Office Manager

Location: Wisbech
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 p/a, D.O.E (pro rata if part-time)
Type of Role: Permanent, 4-5 days per week

ARC is recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company for an experienced Senior Administrator/Office Manager. This is a key role within the business, providing essential support across administration, HR, payroll, and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Management & Administration – Overseeing daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.

  • HR Administration – Managing employee records, contracts, onboarding, and supporting HR-related processes.

  • Payroll & Accounts – Assisting with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general financial administration.

  • Facilities Management – Coordinating office upkeep, supplier management, and health & safety compliance.

  • Compliance & Policies – Supporting HR policies and procedures; knowledge of employment law is beneficial but not essential.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in a similar role (Senior Admin, Office Manager, HR Administrator, or related).

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with payroll, accounts, and financial processes.

  • HR administration experience; employment law knowledge is a plus.

  • Previous experience in construction or a related sector is advantageous but not essential.

  • Confident working in a fast-paced office environment.
