An established business based in Wisbech are working in collaboration with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Sales Account Manager to focus on clients and relationships within the luxury retail industry.

The business are looking to hire someone who can develop new accounts as well as aiding in maintaining the standard with existing customer accounts. The role will be a blend of creating a strategy of customers to target, as well as following up on the high number of leads & enquiries the business receives. You will be expected to create a sales and development plan that uses your knowledge and skills to maximise sales opportunities, along with having the full support of the wider sales team.

Key day to day duties to note are:

  • Building new relationships via new leads coming through to the business
  • Seek out new sales opportunities through a combination of methods, including networking, trade shows, social media and direct contact (phone or otherwise).
  • Negotiate/close deals
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Attendance at events, exhibitions and trade shows where relevant
  • Organise meetings with potential clients, positioning new products and services
  • Plan and carry out direct marketing to current and new customers.
  • Order processing
  • Ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date
  • Working towards targets & KPI's

For this position, the business is looking for CV's with many of the following attributes:

  • Prior experience in a similar sales / business development or account management role
  • Knowledge or working background of the retail industry would be advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a targeted / KPI environment
  • Commercial & entrepreneurial aptitude
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, along with a professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to learn about products and demonstrate to clients
  • Solid computer skills with MS Office & CRM systems
  • Creative
  • Able to commit to a full time office based role in Wisbech

The role is a full time office based position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and the business are looking to offer a salary of £30,000 per annum. Additional aspects to note are:
