Xpert Resourcing are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced person to be responsible for all aspects of the parts department to be based close to Wisbech.
You will be well used to working with inventory management systems and have a strong understanding of LEAN methodologies.
Dutieswill include:
- Manage the procurement and inventory of parts, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet service demands.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including the organisation and storage of parts, to facilitate efficient retrieval and distribution.
- Monitor the health and well being of staff and direct reports.
- Utilising inventory management systems to ensure stock accuracy at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate timely deliveries and shipments of parts.
- Working closely with the Group Buyer to maximise product availability.
- Train and supervise staff within the parts department, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Experience / skills required:
- Proven experience in dealership environment would be a huge advantage.
- Strong experience of working with Inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with LEAN methodologies.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management (experience with CMMS or AS400 is advantageous).
- A solid understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (between the hours of 7am - 5pm)
