Robertson Bell are excited to partner with a highly regarded education provider to recruit a Financial Controller position on a permanent basis. In this role you will be leading in a variety of duties within year end in addition to managing a varied finance team, whilst also paying a pivotal role in maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

In this Financial Controller position, you will:

  • Oversee and take full ownership within statutory and group accounts, making sure to lead on year end duties.
  • Being the central point of contact for all audit queries, acting as that key link between finance and audit.
  • Manage a team of five finance professionals, making sure to keep up to date on workloads.
  • Utilise all areas of your skillset in order to complete both treasury and cash management duties when necessary.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant with a few years of post qualification experience.
  • Have expert skill in financial accountancy, being able to complete tasks such as statutory and group accounts with ease.
  • Possess excellent communication skills that will aid in liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Have numerous years of managerial experience, dealing with varied teams.
