The role of a Bid-Writer/Copywriter will involve crafting high-quality responses to secure new opportunities aligned with the business plan. Working as part of the Business Development team, with access to wider teams within the organisation.

My client is a family-owned, award-winning housebuilder. They specialise in creating unique communities across London, and are currently expanding into the South West and Midlands. Offices based in Essex.

Description

Key Responsibilities for the Bid-Writer / Copywriter:

  • Health & Safety: Understand and communicate the company's policies and performance to potential partners and clients.
  • Delivery: Ensure timely production of qualitative submissions (SQs and ITTs), complete bid presentations, provide high-quality answers for tenders, conduct client research, and maintain the submission library.
  • Presentation: Write and update case studies and CVs for staff, and assist with pre and post-tender interviews.
  • Financial: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  • People Management: Collaborate with pre-construction and regional teams for accurate financial submissions and coordinate with marketing for necessary visuals.
  • General: Promote the company as a preferred partner, maintain a positive attitude, produce final documentation, and structure submission documents. Adobe InDesign experience is desirable.

Profile

The successful Bid-Writer / Copywriter will have:

  • Experience in the house build industry with bid writing - beneficial.
  • Excellent accurate written and communication skills - English.
  • Adobe InDesign experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient copywriting skills and experience.
  • Write exemplary qualitative responses to secure new opportunities.
