This is a temporary to permanent role, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
Candidates must have previous experience managing maintenance teams and hold an enhanced DBS, with educational experience being preferred.
Responsibilities include daily management of maintenance teams, budget management, and ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met.

Venn Group is supporting a school in Essex to recruit for a Head of Maintenance to lead their technicians and support the efficient running of the site.

Hourly rate: £24 through an umbrella company, salary £50k - £55k per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Location: Essex

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

The daily management of maintenance teams, ensuring PPM schedule is clearly set out
Ensuring reactive maintenance is dealt with efficiently, prioritised correctly
Budget management for the department
Ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met and exceeded
Overseeing external contractors when required
Managing redecoration and refurbishment works
Updating and maintaining the CAFM system

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience managing maintenance teams
Enhanced DBS
Education experience is ideal
