A leading Mechanical and Electrical contractor based in Essex, specialising in high-end residential projects with values exceeding £10 million. Our commitment to excellence and precision has established us as a trusted partner in delivering luxurious, bespoke developments across the region.
The Role:We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in preparing detailed and competitive estimates for mechanical services in high-value residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and comprehensive mechanical estimates for high-end residential projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce competitive pricing
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms
- Work closely with the project team to ensure estimates align with project objectives and budgets
- Contribute to tender submissions, ensuring all documentation is completed to the highest standard
- Monitor costs and adjust estimates as required during the project lifecycle
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating within the M&E or construction sectors
- Previous experience working on high-end residential or similar large-scale projects (£10m+)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and services, particularly in high-value residential developments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office packages
