About the Role:Our client is a leading name in the fenestration and glazing industry, known for delivering exceptional products and services. Due to continued growth and success, they are looking for a talented Surveyor to join their expanding team. This remote-based role offers the opportunity to work independently, visiting domestic properties to gather essential measurements, produce 2D CAD drawings, and support the installation teams with accurate site reports.If you have experience in CAD design and measuring/surveying within the fenestration/glazing industry, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys at domestic properties, ensuring all required dimensions are accurately recorded.
  • Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings to support the installation teams.
  • Provide comprehensive site reports, highlighting any potential issues or challenges.
  • Assess site accessibility and recommend solutions where needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with homeowners and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven CAD design experience.
  • Strong measuring and surveying background, ideally within the glazing or fenestration sectors.
  • Solid construction industry knowledge.
  • Familiarity with secondary glazing or fenestration practices.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients at all levels.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to overcoming site challenges.
