Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary construction contractor based in Essex and operating across London, the Southeast and Home Counties. A Commercial Manager role has arisen within the business which would suit somebody from a maintenance and/or refurbishment background, more specifically commercial and residential externals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all commercial aspects of projects.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and budgets.
  • Monitor costs, variations, and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Must Have:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience in commercial and residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Membership in RICS or CIOB is an advantage.
