Are you an experienced Human Resources Professional with specialist Organisational Development expertise leading large change and transformational programmes? Are you looking for a new fixed term contract assignment to start in January 2025?

I am supporting a dynamic public sector organisation in Central Essex in their search for an Interim Organisational Development (OD) Consultant.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in aligning and integrating all areas of the organisation to drive the success of its strategic goals. As an OD Consultant, you will work collaboratively with Organisation Design Consultants, People Business Partners, and People Leads to foster individual, team, and organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of organisational needs and challenges.
  • Design and implement impactful OD and behavioural interventions.
  • Drive business transformation by integrating organisational development, change management, engagement strategies, and learning and development programs.
  • Support performance improvement at individual, team, and organisational levels.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organisation's vision and objectives.

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field such as Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • CIPD Level 7 (or currently working towards this qualification).
  • Deep, expert knowledge in the field of Organisational Development.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, design, deliver, and evaluate OD and change interventions within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong track record of managing complex cultural, behavioural, and systemic challenges.
  • Practical and successful application of organisation development and change management theories and methodologies in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to drive organisational transformation.
