About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic First Line IT Support person to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive timely and effective solutions to their IT issues.

Our client is a leading provider of travel technology solutions within the UK travel industry. Established over 30 years, they are proud providers of an award-winning software used by travel agents across the country, and are committed to delivering exceptional service and support to their clients.

Job responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Provide support and guidance on software usage and best practices.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all support interactions in our ticketing system.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with the latest technologies and support practices.
