Job Purpose:

Lead and coordinate all communications and engagement activities surrounding the digital transformation programme, with a focus on the launch of the new product in June 2025. You will develop and implement internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders to ensure a successful launch and raise awareness of the broader digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Create and lead the communications strategy for the new product launch within the context of the wider digital transformation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the success of the digital programme.
  • Campaigns & Messaging: Develop campaigns to raise awareness, encourage staff participation in testing and training, and communicate important program updates.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a Digital Content Officer and oversee the production of digital, print, and written communication materials.
  • Reporting & Evaluation: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and adapt accordingly.
  • Event Management: Lead staff engagement events and initiatives related to the digital transformation.
Relationships:
  • Internal: Work closely with the Chief Digital Transformation Officer, Programme Director, IT teams, Communications teams, clinical leaders, and staff across the Trust.
  • External: Engage with local partners, key service providers, patient groups, and other stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
  • Proven experience in communications and engagement, including leading large-scale projects.
  • Strong relationship-building, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in issues management, internal communications, and delivering digital campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with an eye for detail.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience with EPR or similar digital transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare operations and digital systems.
  • Familiarity with communication tools such as Publisher, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
Additional Information:
  • Hybrid working with on-site presence required at least three days per week.
