About the Role:In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you'll provide expert legal advice and guidance on a range of criminal and enforcement matters, including fraud prosecutions, consumer protection, and planning and environmental enforcement. You will manage a varied caseload, working closely with internal and external partners, and contribute to high-profile and impactful legal cases. As part of the Dispute Resolution and Employment Law Team, you'll also have the chance to shape new business streams and further enhance your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious criminal and enforcement cases
  • Advise on fraud, consumer protection, planning, and highways enforcement prosecutions
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice and assist in the drafting of charges and enforcement notices
  • Manage criminal cases through the full lifecycle, from investigation to sentencing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years of post-qualified experience
  • Expertise in criminal law and enforcement, including advising on criminal investigations and running cases
  • Strong advocacy skills, with some experience in the Magistrates' Court (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • A track record of building strong, collaborative relationships and providing clear, strategic legal advice
