Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Maintenance Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day service delivery of their engineering services. Â
This company are a trusted national service provider with an impressive, growing client base. You will love the team-based office environment and will be joining the organisation in a position of high responsibility. You will be ensuring the company runs efficiently and to the highest standards, for which they are known. This operations role will suit a great communicator, as it will involve working closely with engineers, directors, suppliers and clients.
In addition to a starting salary between £35,000 - £40,000, you also be given 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. You will be working in the Witham office (Essex), and you will be required in the office 5 days per week.
Within this varied Engineering Operations Managers opportunity, your role will include:
- Managing and scheduling engineers
- Job reporting
- Raising PO numbers, ordering materials, managing stock levels
- Raising quotes
- Generating reports for senior management
- Overseeing a small administrative team
- Liaising with clients for job related queries and updates
This important role sits right at the core of the company and will suit someone wanting to be heavily involved in and responsible for the central running of smooth maintenance operations.
For this Maintenance Operations Manager role, we are looking for:
- Experience of working in a similar role either for a service provider or client side (this is essential)
- Systems experience of Simpro (This is highly desirable, though not essential)
- Experience in building services operations such as, scheduling engineers, service coordination, helpdesk management, logging and reporting on jobs.
- Strong communication skills with experience of scheduling and managing engineers
- Multitasking abilities and exemplary organisational talents
- Living a commutable distance to the Witham and happy to work in the office 5 days per week
