Pure are working exclusively with a growing Logisitcs organisation who are looking for a Manifest Administrator.The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and be extremely well organised. Having excellent clerical skills the Manifest Clerk will on a daily basis be dealing with customers and internal staff by both telephone and e mail. Be able to accurately input data from large quantities of paper files to create shipment folders and customs clearance files that will be distributed in line with business and customer specific requirements.  Role Responsibilities:
  • Process Manifest documentation in line with system and customer requirements
  • Ensure vessel schedules are updated within the business systems
  • Contribute to customer care and key account (enquiries, requests, calls etc) as required to achieve a successful outcome
  • Maintain customer records, including the creation of new, in line with business processes and in conjunction with other departments
  • Collate and file manifest files and folders in line with business requirements
  • Work alongside other departments as necessary to resolve issues that may arise
  • Answering customer calls and managing enquiry to a successful conclusion
Main skills:
  • Excellent Customer Service skills 
  • Highly organised 
  • Great IT skills within all microsoft packages
  • Logistics industry experience would be a bonus 
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Data inputting & Spreadsheets
  • Excellent attention to detail
