With a strong focus on professional development and excellence, they are now looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

Your new roleAs the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the existing and experienced team on a variety of exciting projects which will include cost management and contract administration responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience whilst working towards your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) to achieve RICS chartership. As part of the role, you will assist in preparing cost estimates and tender documents, conduct site visits to assess progress and support in contract administration and post-contract cost control. This will also include evaluating variations and claims and preparing the final accounts.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful for this role, you should have an RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying (or be working towards). You should be able to demonstrate a passion for developing a career in quantity surveying and achieving RICS accreditation. Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential and you will be required to provide a vehicle for work purposes (mileage reimbursed).
