SEN Teacher with Excellent Behavioural Management Skills

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with severe SEN, including Autism and ADHD? Do you have a background in working with children from diverse backgrounds, including those from care or trauma situations? If so, we want to hear from you!

Position: SEN Teacher for a Primary School 
Start Date: September 

Full time or Part time available 

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Work with students with SEN Autism, ADHD & children with all different backgrounds you will need to create a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Teach and inspire children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.
  • Utilize strong behavioural management skills, including experience with restraint when necessary, to ensure a safe and supportive classroom.
  • Support children from various backgrounds, including those with a history of care and trauma, providing them with the understanding and stability they need.

SEN Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong background in teaching KS1/KS2 children.
  • Excellent behavioural management skills, including experience in restraint techniques.
  • Passion for SEN education and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Drive to progress into a role with additional responsibility in the future.
