SEN Primary Teachers

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs, behavourial managerment, children with truma and differenet backgrounds? Do you want to make a differience in the children lives?

1. SEN Primary Teacher (Non-verbal, Sensory Processing, Complex Needs, and Learning Disabilities/Truma/Behavourial Challanges)
2. SLD/MLD Teacher (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2)

SEN Primary Teachers will have:

  • QTS or equivalent (excellent unqualified practitioners will also be considered).
  • Previous experience working with PMLD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Complex Needs, and/or Physical/Mental/Sensory Impairments/behavourial challenges/truma.
  • Experience working with children in care, those with trauma, behavioural challenges, or high emotional needs.
  • Ability to implement a wide range of teaching techniques.
  • A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, and students.
  • Behavioural management experience and a passion for SEN education.
  • Bonus if you have restraint experience and training.

SEN Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Use a variety of teaching techniques to engage students and address their learning requirements.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students to support student progress.
  • Manage and respond to challenging behaviours with patience and positive strategies.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide holistic support to students.
