Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are supporting a construction business based West Oxfordhsire seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on a temporary basis for 8-12 weeks. Please note this is a fully office based role 9-5 (can be flexible with hours) with on site parking.

Role Overview:As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day processing and recording of company payments. You will support the finance team and occasionally provide back-up to reception. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process all company payments, adhering to deadlines.
  • Assist with recording financial transactions and maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Support monthly supplier payments and company card purchases.
  • Conduct daily bank statement reconciliations.
  • Assist the Finance Director with ad-hoc payments and accounts duties.

  • Proficient in Microsoft computer packages and accountancy software.
  • Certificate or above in Accountancy, Finance, or Book-keeping desirable, or proven experience.
