We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to work with a well established and successful company based in Witney.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will involve preparation of all related accounting information, ad-hoc financial requests and working alongside the Management Accountant to create accurate reporting.

Main duties will include:

Be the main point of contact for both suppliers and customers.

Daily monitoring and processing of cash transactions.

Prepare and analyse sales and KPI reports on a weekly/monthly basis.

Provide key accounting support, including balance sheet reconciliations, sales invoicing, credit control, banking, VAT, and stock control.

Perform general bookkeeping tasks.

Whats required:

Qualified by relevant experience (AAT or similar).

Strong understanding of accountancy and double-entry bookkeeping.

Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Xero).

Proficient in MS Excel and general IT skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and external contacts.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
