Job Title: Supplies administratorPay rate: upto £30000Location: WitneyDuration: 12 months

About the Role:

Management of clinical study product, equipment and materials, from receipt through to disposal, to enable delivery of global clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all communications, interpersonal interactions and behaviors are consistent with ADC core values and the Abbott Code of Conduct
  • Move study supplies and devices from goods-in to a storeroom using trolleys and an elevator
  • Check study supplies and devices received against purchase orders and document the quantity and part numbers received on an accountability record
  • Collate and check supplies to be shipped to study sites, update accountability records and follow a process to book courier shipment
  • Follow a process to book courier shipments and prepare waybills
  • Use a scanning device e.g. barcode scanner to electronically scan product to accurately account for product received and shipped
  • Move returned packages from study sites from goods-in to the clinical store/clinical lab to open, account for items returned and decontaminate per procedure as required
  • Conduct regular storeroom checks to ensure there are sufficient quantities of supplies and devices and that they are not expired
  • Move expired product from the storeroom to the disposal room
  • Ensure study materials and devices are disposed of appropriately according to procedures. This could include separating device packaging/parts into different waste bins to ensure correct disposal routes for different materials
  • Creating packs of supplies/materials for clinical studies, this could include creating small bags,counting a number of labels or small products to be placed inside and labelling the bag
  • Printing clinical study documents.
  • Document scanning to create electronic copies
  • Archiving documents as per ADC procedures

Experience/Background:

Must be accurate and organized in work approach and have good attention to detail. Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize work. Some experience of working in a team would be desirable.
