The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a leading Wealth Management Company to find a Paraplanning Support Assistant to join their busy team and to assist in providing administrative and technical support to Paraplanners within the business.

Ideally, you will have previous experience working in financial planning or wealth management but a keen ambitious candidate who is looking to get into the industry may also be considered.

Duties:
  • Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives
  • Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in the implementation of new business
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the technical administrative function within the business
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
  • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.
Skills/Experience required:
  • Ideally previous experience in the financial planning industry, such as, Client Support Administrator
  • Analytical thinking, with the ability to understand a situation and derive an intelligent and thoughtful response
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication
  • The ability to empathise and build strong relationships with clients, and colleagues
  • Strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service to clients by telephone and email
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Office, 7IM and Transact would be beneficial
  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) would be advantageous

The office is located just a few miles outside of Witney and with limited public transport, your own transport is required.
