Job Description:

They are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team in managing all costs related to residential building projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for residential projects.
Support the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Help manage and control project expenditures.
Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project teams to monitor progress and costs.
Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
Contribute to the preparation of regular financial reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Some experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the residential construction sector.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of construction methods and materials is an advantage.
