The Learning Support Assistant - Witney requirements:

• Support students with ASC, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
• Create and encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Be able to adapt teaching styles, to suit the individual student. Essential when in 1:1 settings.
• Collaborate with the West Oxfordshire teachers, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.
• Responsible to monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
• Be a reliable member of the Learning Support Assistant - Witney team to offer emotional and behavioural support to the West Oxfordshire students when required.

Schedule:

• Full time 08:30am - 3:30pm
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends (term time only)

Experience:

• SEN/SEMH: 1 year (preferred)
• UK based Learning Support Assistant (LSA) roles: 1 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
