Your new companyA historic leading conservation charity are recruiting a Financial Controller (100% Remote working job). This green organisation's purpose is protecting the environment and wildlife. They promote change in order to protect our planet.You will be working with a passionate CFO who deeply cares about the organisation, their purpose and developing the finance team.This organisation have a fully remote, modern, flexible working culture, however you will be expected to be based in the UK and, on the odd occasion, travel nationally.Your new roleThis is a unique Financial Controller role (100% remote) . Working with the CFO you will be able to shape and implement the finance function inline with the corporate strategy.Lead and inspire a small teamPrepare the management accounts, budgeting and forecastingPreparing financial analysis and data to support decision-making Manage the month-end process and control accounts.Cashflow forecastingBe the main point of contact for the annual audit and the statutory accounts.Prepare papers for the board meeting.Reviewing contractsWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be a (ACCA, CIMA OR ACA) Accountant with strong financial controls experience, ideally within the charity sector.Offer excellent analytical skills and data analysisCommercial mindset.Knowledge or SORP Experience using an accounting package such as quickbooks or Sage What you'll get in returnThe opportunity to make a positive impact to the environment and the future of the planet!
