TPF Recruitment are currently supporting a small, but excellent accountancy practice is the wider Woking area.

They are currently seeking an experienced Personal Tax Accountant to join their team. Although you'll be standalone within the tax department, the wider accountancy team support with tax compliance work.

This opportunity will involve handling complex personal tax compliance, as well as some advisory work. As this is a new opportunity it can be moulded to cater for the applicant's experience and aspirations too. Part-time applicants may also be considered.

Requirements

As this role is to lead the portfolio of personal tax work it is essential that you have been managing a portfolio in your current role. Ideally you will also have experience supporting more junior colleagues with tax queries.

Due to the nature of the role it is also crucial that you are confident liaising direct with clients, and dealing with more complex queries.

You'll also have experience in a UK practice, handling UK self assessments for a range of clientele.

In return for this, you will work in a highly autonomous role. There will be the freedom to grow the personal tax portfolio if you're passionate to do so, or to get involved with more niche areas of tax.

You'll work with the Director, but will have full management of the tax portfolio.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but likely £35,000-£45,000 for part-qualified, and slightly higher for post-qualified. Qualified by experience will also be considered for this opportunity.
