This charming pub, set on the village green, offers fresh, seasonal British cuisine with a strong emphasis on local ingredients and high-quality produce.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting hearty, delicious dishes, while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef, supporting the daily operations of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, and assisting in menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
Manage kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Oversee stock levels, ordering, and waste control
Contribute to menu planning, incorporating seasonal produce
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, preferably in a high-volume pub or restaurant
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff
A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative menu development
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
