Nursery Assistant, Nursery Practitioner and Senior Nursery practitioner

We are currently looking for a Nursery Assistant and Senior Practitioner, to join our beautiful little community children's day nursery and pre-school in Woking.

We are a warm and friendly setting with lots to offer and we value our dedicated and hard working staff and offer ongoing support and training, great opportunities.

The Nursery Assistant and Senior Nursery Practitioner will be joining a welcoming fun team of committed early years staff.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Nursery Assistant / Practitioner:

  • Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun! :)
  • Help with the planning, creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages). Full training and support is provided for candidates looking to start their childcare career.
  • To develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
  • Working creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
  • Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Key skills:

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 2 or above.
  • Experience of working with the EYFS / Early years foundation stage.
  • Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
  • Good communications skills
  • A team player :)
