Salary - up to £60K + Bonus & Benefits

Location - Surrey Office on a hybrid basis

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager, ensuring the effective management of customer accounts and timely collection of outstanding debts. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while minimising financial risk to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the credit control team to ensure efficient debt collection.
  • Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer credit limits and payment terms.
  • Reduce aged debt and ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Handle escalated debt recovery issues and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow, and risk analysis.
  • Work closely with sales and finance teams to improve credit control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Control Manager or in a similar role leading a team of 3 +
  • Experience within a shared service function
  • Exposure to off shoring
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of credit control procedures and financial risk management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
