We are seeking a dedicated Head of RE and RE Teacher to join a forward-thinking academy that provides an inclusive education for young people aged 11-18. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and high-quality RE lessons to students aged 11-18.
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters respect and ambition.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching practices and share resources.
- Participate in the school’s professional development programmes.
- Actively and positively Lead and team of RE Teachers to provide outstanding teaching and learning across the year groups.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge in RE.
- Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Access to Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework programmes.
