Assistant Pensions Manager

Woking (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)

£60,000 - £65,000

LHH is working with a global business and technology transformation partner, to appoint an experienced and proactive Assistant Pensions Manager to join their small but highly effective team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach to take responsibility for managing both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pensions. The role will offer variety and challenge, with the opportunity to make a real impact in an in-house pensions environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing final salary pensions, primarily for long-serving employees, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. As well as overseeing both company and personal contributions to the Defined Contribution pension scheme, ensuring smooth administration. You will act as the "go-to" person for operational pension queries and ensure the efficient running of pension processes within the company.

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in pensions management, with hands-on exposure to both DB and DC pension schemes. In-house experience is preferred, with a practical understanding of day-to-day pension operations. You will bring a proactive, action-driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. We are looking for someone who is hands-on and willing to get stuck in. Ideally, you will be working towards or holding a Pension Management Institute (PMI) qualification.
