Our client is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join their Residential Conveyancing team. This role is ideal for a Legal Secretary with strong audio typing abilities, as the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team with various administrative and legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Residential Conveyancing team in all aspects of their work.
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings, ensuring high-speed and precision in typing.
- Draft, proofread, and amend legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and property-related paperwork.
- Maintain and manage client files, ensuring all documents are organised and up to date.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties to arrange meetings and manage correspondence.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and managing legal databases.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary, preferably in Residential Conveyancing.
- Highly skilled in audio typing, with excellent attention to detail and speed.
- Strong understanding of the Residential Conveyancing process and related documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
