We are seeking an experienced, organised Office Manager to oversee a team of four admin staff and ten engineers, supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy office, based in Woking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with daily tasks, handle customer calls and emails.
- Chase engineers and resolve queries.
- Ensure timely quotes and customer data updates in the internal database.
- Implement efficient processes and procedures.
- Conduct staff appraisals and manage HR records.
- Monitor holiday, sickness, and onboard new starters.
- Oversee fleet management (tax, insurance, MOT, services) and handle parking fines.
- Assist with invoicing, debt management, and using QuickBooks and Excel.
Requirements:
- Experience managing staff with strong admin and communication skills.
- Some HR and basic accounting knowledge preferred.
Benefits:
- £30k salary.
- Working hours: 08:30-17:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:30-16:00 (Fri).
