Part-Time Payroll Administrator
Location: Woking Salary: £27,000 p.a pro rata
Our client is the UK’s second-largest leisure venue operator, and they are looking for someone to join their team on an on-going temporary basis. There is a good chance the role will become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process company payrolls every pay period
- Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
- Compile payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or key stakeholder review
- Running Pension reports and uploading contributions to the designated Pension platform
- Assisting with communication with HMRC where required in connection with payroll
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent mathematical skills
- MHR iTrent system / Sage 50 would be desirable
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail & organisation skills,
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Capable of working with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
- Experience working with spreadsheets and payroll systems
- Competent understanding of payroll compliance and legislation knowledge
