Part-Time Payroll Administrator

Location: Woking Salary: £27,000 p.a pro rata

Our client is the UK’s second-largest leisure venue operator, and they are looking for someone to join their team on an on-going temporary basis. There is a good chance the role will become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process company payrolls every pay period
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Compile payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or key stakeholder review
  • Running Pension reports and uploading contributions to the designated Pension platform
  • Assisting with communication with HMRC where required in connection with payroll

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • MHR iTrent system / Sage 50 would be desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail & organisation skills,
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and payroll systems
  • Competent understanding of payroll compliance and legislation knowledge
