Quantity Surveyor – Ministry of Defence

This leading main contractor has an immediate need for a Quantity Surveyor to work within an established MOD Government projects division.

• The role will be to work on a freelance contract basis for a minimum period of 6 months and is likely to lead to a permanent salaried position.
• This position has good flexibility being a hybrid role of which you will manage your working week between their office in Surrey, projects in Hampshire and home.

• The current projects for this Quantity Surveyor position are along the M3 corridor down from London into Hampshire.
• The projects consist of a range from new and refurbished accommodation blocks, roof replacements and structural changes, office refurbs and other small construction project around military bases.

The ideal candidate for this leading main contractor would be familiar with MOD government projects however, not essential. A good knowledge of JCT, Bespoke and NEC contracts would be beneficial as you will be covering the different forms. A good solid main contracting background would be essential.

You will have a UK Quantity Surveying qualification and must live within a reasonable commute to Surrey and Hampshire. This company will not offer sponsorship, and you must have a right to work in the UK.
