Lead People Partner - About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support the overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a small HR team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service across the business.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to attract and retain top engineering talent.
- Drive initiatives focused on employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Champion a positive and inclusive culture, fostering an environment where employees thrive.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters and provide support to line managers.
- Oversee workforce planning and assist with succession planning and career development programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Regularly visit various locations to support teams and attend site meetings as required (driving required).
The successful Lead People Partner will have:
- Proven experience in a People Partner or HR leadership role, preferably within the engineering or technical sectors.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and people management processes.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading and driving HR projects and initiatives.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to handle complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
