- Work hands on providing the support programme to individuals and groups
- Manage rotas, ensuring there is adequate cover for holidays and sickness
- Undertake monthly team meetings with all Safe Harbour staff
- Deliver regular one to one’s, ensuring all performance issues, complaints and support needs are addressed
- Ensuring all staff are following the correct processes
- Liaise with the Service Manager and Head of Operations in preparation for the Service Review and steering group meetings in relation to service delivery
- Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring you are able to respond to urgent calls
- Develop relationships with service users, carers and statutory and non- statutory organisations, to help provide an more integrated service
- Experience working within social care contracts, particularly mental health
- Experience supervising, supporting or mentoring staff and / or volunteers
- Understanding of safeguarding policy and practice
- Good admin, record keeping and reporting skills
- Understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
- Confidence to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Robust professional boundaries
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and writing
