Supply Chain Specialist

Annual Salary: £37-40K (DOE).  Comprehensive benefits package includes bonus scheme, generous pension, income protection, life assurance, health cash plan, employee assistance programme and 33 days annual leave (includes bank holidays).  Excellent working environment with free onsite parking available.  

This is a full-time role - 37.5 hour working week with some flexibility around start and finish times.  Based in Woking, with hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home.

You will play a key role in ensuring effective operational delivery with responsibilities across Planning & Forecasting, S&OP and Purchasing - managing stock delivery to customers and ensuring service and quality KPIs are met within budget.  This position is perfect for someone with a challenger mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive for results.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collaborate with Suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels by analysing current stock against demand.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to maintain an accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure timely expedition of orders within expected service levels.
  • Validating orders and communicating budget positions to stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient delivery schedules and cost control measures.
  • Provide an accurate inventory picture, ensuring robust controls and processes with third-party providers.
  • Act as central point of contact for queries related to orders, stock availability and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant supply chain background - inventory control, forecasting, planning, order management, customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
