Supply Chain Specialist
Annual Salary: £37-40K (DOE). This is a full-time role - 37.5 hour working week with some flexibility around start and finish times. Based in Woking, with hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home.
You will play a key role in ensuring effective operational delivery with responsibilities across Planning & Forecasting, S&OP and Purchasing - managing stock delivery to customers and ensuring service and quality KPIs are met within budget. This position is perfect for someone with a challenger mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive for results.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with Suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels by analysing current stock against demand.
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to maintain an accurate forecasting.
- Ensure timely expedition of orders within expected service levels.
- Validating orders and communicating budget positions to stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient delivery schedules and cost control measures.
- Provide an accurate inventory picture, ensuring robust controls and processes with third-party providers.
- Act as central point of contact for queries related to orders, stock availability and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Relevant supply chain background - inventory control, forecasting, planning, order management, customer service.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
