My client, a leading provider of audio-visual equipment and solutions, is looking for a skilled and motivated Audio-Visual Engineer to ensure the high-quality delivery, installation, and customer satisfaction of their AV systems. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong customer service skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems, and sound systems.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support as needed.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations during installations and service work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, projection, and audio distribution.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Experience working with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX, Crestron, Cisco or similar is desirable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Desirable: CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification. Electrical or networking qualifications would be an advantage. Experience in programming control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
