Our client, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join their vibrant team!This organisation specialises in providing top-notch production services and event equipment across the UK and beyond. With a focus on creativity and excellence, they are proud to ensure every event becomes a memorable experience!As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. You will ensure that event and production equipment is meticulously prepared and maintained to meet stringent standards.   • Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage and handling of inventory.
  • Prioritise tasks to manage multiple workflows during peak periods, optimising the use of space and resources.
  • Train and manage a team of 3-4 warehouse assistants, instilling best practises in inventory control and equipment handling.
  • Regularly engage with inventory management systems (training provided) to maintain accurate asset records.
  • Prepare and de-prep equipment according to specific job requirements and checklists, guaranteeing readiness for subsequent use.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs such as ready equipment percentage and job preparation accuracy to improve operational efficiency.
  • Uphold and promote core values, creating a supportive, responsible, and enthusiastic workplace atmosphere.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience in the events industry is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong inventory management skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with strategic decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • A passion for curiosity, dependability, and enthusiasm that aligns with the organisation's values.
  • Familiarity with KPI implementation and performance management techniques.
  • Experience in resolving logistical and operational challenges within a warehouse setting.
