Mechanical Engineer

This versatile Mechanical Engineering role will allow you to work on a range of complex design projects from concept to launch across the whole product development lifecycle. You will work with electro-mechanical products mainly used within the renewable energy industry.


Based out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility, you will work on both new and existing products, with everything done in-house. You will join a small team within a company that encourages innovation and creativity, at an exciting phase of growth.


The role will combine creative mechanical design with core engineering principles, meaning you will be involved in FEA calculations and analysis, as well as delivering engineering drawings and calculations.


As you gain experience and expertise, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of larger projects, working on products supplied to customers globally. With all design and manufacturing done on-site, you will also get hands-on experience testing and evaluating your designs while collaborating with other engineers.


What you will need:
  • A solid foundation in mechanical engineering with at least three years of industry experience.
  • Experience working with complex electro-mechanical products.
  • An understanding of FEA calculations and analysis.
  • Strong CAD skills SolidWorks is preferred, but training can be provided if you have experience with other 3D CAD packages.
