Our Wokingham based client is seeking a creative and proactive PR and Social Media Executive to elevate its brand presence and engagement. Working with the Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager, this role will drive PR strategies, manage social media channels, and create compelling content to promote the company’s products and services.
This is an office based role based close to Wokingham offering a salary of up to £30,000 plus a generous 12% bonus alongside fantastic benefits.
Key Responsibilities for the PR & Social Media Executive role are:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
- Build media relationships and secure positive coverage.
- Create press releases, articles, and case studies.
- Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Craft engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos.
- Monitor and analyse PR and social media performance, optimising strategies.
Skills required for the PR & Social Media Executive role are:
- Degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-2 years of PR/social media experience, ideally in renewables or sustainability.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media tools and analytics (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Passion for digital trends and sustainability.
- Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
